(ALC).  Our approach is unique in that the ultimate goal is not only to
achieve magnet status.  While many clients choose to obtain designation
as a Magnet hospital, most find the journey with improved outcomes and
service as the most significant benefit of the enterprise.

ALC  Magnet Consultation scope of services encompasses:

An Assessment of your organizations’ readiness for Magnet designation. 
Through the process of becoming a Magnet hospital, we take our clients
through action steps that assess the organization and find avenues for
cost reduction and revenue enhancement. ALC’s approach is results driven.  
As part of the evaluation phase, ALC will gather and analyze organizational
data to determine compliance with the Magnet Recognition standards and
measurement criteria. 

A written and verbal Report of Findings will articulate the organizations’
nursing service’s strengths and areas for improvement predicated
on compliance with Core and Magnet Measurement Criteria.

Deliverables will also include Implementation Strategies and an
Action Plan to foster changes that will lead to the benefits of a
Magnet organization whether or not accreditation by the American
Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is obtained

Implementation Support of solutions and recommended strategies.
This phase will include prioritization and identification of time frames,
responsibilities, success measurements and provision of needed resources.

Assistance with all phases of the Appraisal Process, including the
application and demographic form, compilation of the required written
documentation and site visit evaluation support. 

Monitoring for Accountability and Follow Up
Reassessment audits are undertaken to ascertain that gains or key
success factors are achieved and maintained. A database is maintained
for outcomes comparison.  Mock Surveys are initiated to ensure
Magnet organizations initial and continued compliance with Magnet
Recognition Program standards.
