CORE MEASURES
Assisted clients with core measure abstraction. For clients who had temporary needs in Quality/Performance Improvement for core measures and specialty reviews, ALC’s expert reviewers abstracted quality and risk performance data accurately and timely.
ALC has worked remotely and on-site and has assisted clients to comply with core measure abstraction guidelines and achieve optimal reimbursement and scoring.
Using the CMS set of “measures” that hospitals are required to report on in order to receive their full APU reimbursement, ALC has developed a service that can analyze and identify “problem” areas for hospitals. ALC has strong expertise in the area of core measure assessments. The new CMS Value-Based Purchasing Program (VBP) has been studied extensively by our staff and will be one of the biggest challenges that hospitals will have to face in the next few years. The CMS VBP Program also will extend to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. We can see the demand for education on these important upcoming CMS requirements in the hospital setting, skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
